    Women Empowerment Counseling is experienced in treating a variety of issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief, mood disorders, trauma (PTSD), substance use/addiction, self-harm, stress, anger management, life skills, career changes, women’s issues, and more!

    We utilize a variation of treatment modalities, which is individualized to you and your strengths & needs. We are skilled in and use the following therapeutic interventions:

    Individual Counseling

    Individual counseling addresses a variation of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, mood disorders, trauma (PTSD), self-harm, stress & anger management, life skills, career changes, women's issues, and more!

    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

    The goal of CBT is to teach you how to be your own therapist by helping you learn how to identify your thoughts about a situation, which connects to how you feel, and ultimately results in how you respond behaviorally.

    Telehealth

    Telehealth allows you to receive therapy virtually through an online video conferencing platform. The benefit is Telehealth can be done anywhere that you have a phone or computer with a video camera.

    Accelerated Resolution Therapy

    Accelerated Resolution Therapy, often referred to as ART, is an evidence-based practice commonly used to treat symptoms of post-traumatic stress, including anxiety, nightmares, flashbacks, and intrusive thoughts and images.

    Recovery Life Coaching

    A Recovery Life Coach is your individual support to help keep you on track with reaching and maintaining your individual goals as it relates to your recovery journey.

    Couples Counseling

    If you have a history of trauma, abuse, or unhealthy relationships, it can impact your present relationship. In couples counseling, you will learn how to understand each other's needs, find acceptance for each other's flaws, improve your communication & intimacy, and heal together.

    Family Counseling

    The family we grew up in impacts who we are, how we behave, and what we believe. When one person struggles, it affects the entire family dynamic.

    Group Counseling

    Group therapy provides connection to others & allows you to realize you are not alone. This process also helps you find self-awareness by listening to others with similar issues.
